This bar originated as an experiment in bite-able design –the study of shapes and textures that induce appetite. This type of design is common in candy shape design where the shape of the candy is as important to its customer appeal as are the ingredients and flavor. Typically customers will prefer “finger food” sized pieces and shapes which are either angular and geometrically intricate inspiring a desire to destroy its formal perfection  or soft shapes (like spheres). This bar allows you to break off sections of the bar (like a typical rectangular bar) but each section is a sphere.  Because of its similarity in appearance to bubble wrap, the chocolate bar is wrapped in bubble wrap whose allure also encourages interaction
